Based in the UK, Baraka Craft Exhibition is a business about African art and craft .The business purpose is to exhibit other people’s artwork to a wider market in UK.The exhibition will be done in different malls in the UK. The artwork is done by craftsmen from Africa so they can showcase their business and skills to a wider market. The main Exhibitors are the three East African countries Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania .
Although the three East African countries being the main exhibitors, the company also welcomes other exhibitors from all over Africa. The main aim of Baraka exhibition is to make people understand the beauty and importance of craft market. Africa has a unique craft experience and the craft exhibited by the craftsmen are from specific tribes in each country of Africa. The products are all handmade and the material used comprises from newspapers for beadwork, wood from different trees e.g. ebony, rosewood, bamboo, animal hide which is culled and made to drums, copper metal for bangles, sisal, wool, coconut, soapstone, malachite, car tyre for Maasai sandals and many other natural materials. Apart from the craftsmen, the artwork is also done by orphans and widows who are taught these skills so as to earn a living. We pride ourselves in supporting the less privileged.
African craft has its own natural beauty and unless it is taken out of Africa other ethnic groups who have never visited Africa would not experience its beauty. We pride our self into making sure customers get the best high quality produced African craft.
